November Cosplay Spotlight
Bring the Rayne...
We're spotlighting talent in the cosplay community!
Every month, The Variant showcases different cosplayers who display talent, creativity, and a positive voice for the cosplay community!
At first glance you might look at this month's spotlight, Summer Noelle and think maybe we forgot to take down October. Well, I'm not gonna lie and tell you we didn't originally plan for her to be in last month's Spooktacular but with our crazy schedule and hers the pieces just didn't come together until after October was already in full effect. So we did the next best thing and just gave her the entire month of November all to herself!!
With her Cheshire cosplay from Young Justice shot by C&C Media Design and her Bloodrayne shot by Tomisina Lynn we're positive her pictures will steal your hearts and souls... both literally and figuratively...
Summer Noelle is a fitness buff, horseback rider, crazy cat lady and a cosplayer. Originally from Newtown, Connecticut, Summer was always the oddball in her group of friends. She officially started cosplaying at the age of 13, and has created her own costumes for the past seven years. She also takes commissions by others to make custom costumes. Her original plan was to go to college in Greensboro, North Carolina for costume design, but it was clear after a few months that the college life just wasn't her bag. Summer now works full-time while going to school part-time online and on weekends continues her cosplay shenanigans all throughout the south east.
With many, many cosplay plans in the near future, there is no doubt that you will probably see Summer at as many events and conventions as humanly possible. When she’s not running around dressed as an assassin you can typically find her hanging out with her two cats, lifting in the gym or spending time with her boyfriend John.
“I’m not really a partier. I’d much rather watch a movie and cuddle than be out on the town, but this doesn’t mean I don’t know how to live life to the fullest. I try to make the most out of even the smallest situations…”
