Cosplay Spotlight to The Variant, Starlight Cos!!!!
Here’s a little bit of the old “getting to know you” with Starlight!!!
Hi everyone!
My name is Star and I’m so excited to be able to share my cosplay work as February’s spotlight!
I’ve been a cosplayer for 7 years (and counting) and cosplay is something I hold very dear to my heart.
It allows me creative expression and confidence I would’ve never found within myself before.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to fashion and playing pretend dress up. Experimenting with my personal style and seeing what costumes I could make out of my closet was my favorite past time! Naturally, once I found out about cosplay, I knew I had to try it.
My first ever cosplay was a closet cosplay of Uraraka from My Hero Academia when I was 13!
Though I have grown and improved a lot since then, I still haven’t forgotten the feeling of
looking in the mirror and seeing my favorite character look back at me
It was like magic, and I still get that feeling whenever I get into cosplay.
I have many fun projects in the works right now, specifically a certain
throwback to a girl so sweet just like her name ;). I pour my heart and all my passion
into everything I do (as well as a whole lot of glitter and sparkles), and I hope
you all enjoy seeing them once they’re done.
Lots of love and keep shining! -Star
This month for their Cosplay Spotlight, Starlight brought us three incredible looks of Ramuda from the game turned anime, Hypnosis Mic, Lumine from the hit RPG, Genshin Impact and their Heartsteel Kayn from League of Legends. Lumine and Ramuda were shot by both Sudds Photo and Tomisina Lynn. The Kayn set is also by Tomisina Lynn
