How about a NEW COSPLAY SPOTLIGHT!!!
Our eagle-eyed viewers may recognize Chocolate Cheri’e Delight from last month’s April Bunny Eggstravaganza as Cammy bunny!!!
Here’s the scoop on this sweet and sassy Spotlight!!!

Chocolate Cheri’e Delight is a 20x published cosplayer and published author who recently moved to Charlotte, NC from Memphis, TN.
While in Memphis, she won the prestigious 2024 MEA Female Cosplayer of the Year Award. While she has been
cosplaying professionally for only 4 years, she actually has been cosplaying for much longer than the term
“cosplay” was coined. Her love of “playing dress up” stemmed from a desire to escape
childhood trauma, but as she grew, she set aside dressing in costume,
as the adult thing to do–and would only indulge herself in the pleasure of
going full out for the month of Halloween with her family.

It took years of therapy, unlearning poor behaviors, and releasing a lot of anxiety and fears before Cheri’e was finally
ready to step out into the big world of pro cosplay. Fueled by some of the amazing cosplayers
that she would watch on social media (Hellspawned, CutiePieSensei, Knightmage, and HeirofGlee, just to name a few),
she decided to dive in head first–and fell in love! She now uses
her platform to raise awareness about normalizing that anyone can cosplay!
No matter your shape, size, color, age, or gender, your creativity is needed in the world!
Cheri’e has co-founded Code Bluff, a Memphis and surrounding areas-based
cosplay / nerd group to create a safe space for like-minded individuals to come together in support
and camaraderie in hopes of seeing more of her amazing cosplay friends prosper in the coming years!

For Cheri’e’s May Spotlight we’ve got three stunning shoots by our incredible Director of Photography, Tomisina Lynn!!!
Cheri’e brought us three of her fiercest cosplays!
All three sets were shot in one day (it IS possible!!) in her
new home of beautiful downtown Charlotte, NC.
We’ve got her Catwoman inspired by Anne Hathaway’s look,
Chun Li from Street Fighter and Jade from Mortal Kombat!
